Cloud Risk Management Specialist

Core duties and responsibilities

• Assess risks and evaluate existing controls to ensure their effectiveness in mitigating identified risks. • Assist in the development of long-term cloud strategies, ensuring they are aligned with overall business goals. •Work closely with cloud architects and engineers teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives. • Guide and train the employees in risk management policies, procedures and practices to raise awareness and foster risk- conscious culture. • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management. • Track, measure and report on potential risks and compile such data for analysis purposes. • Assist in developing strategies and plans for risk management and solutions for identified risks. • Assist in audit and regular review of cloud-related risk management processes. • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure. • Experience in cost optimization tools and strategies. • Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in English and Chinese. • Strong business acumen and an understanding of how cloud risk management and optimization impact both the technology and financial aspects of the organization.
